Madikeri, Sep 28: A human skeleton is found at Jodupala, which was the center of severe deluge recently. It is suspected that this might be of Manjula (15), who went missing after the house in which she was living collapsed due to the mudslide.
The guardians of Manjula, however, are not able to confirm whether the skeleton is that of Manjula as they have not found any items on it. Even the medical and police sources have not confirmed this. The guardians and family people of Manjula were searching for her body relentlessly from the time of the natural fury and they found the human skeleton at a distance of around one km from the place where their house was situated.
Madikeri rural police, who conducted the preliminary investigation, informed the doctors of the district hospital to conduct a medical examination. After the examination, the doctors confirmed that the bones are that of a human being. However, they said that it is not possible to confirm whether the same is that of Manjula without holding further medical tests.
