Marian exhibition and singing competition held at Bantwal church

Bantwal, Sep 18: Unity is strength. when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved. Owing this in mind and at the background of year of rosary, small christian community core committee members and ICYM Bantwal unit conducted Marian exhibition and Marian singing competition.

All the ward members took a keen interest towards this programme and brought up a beautiful exhibition.

The singing competition was held at Modankap church hall on September 16. The participants from various ward put forth their enthralling performance.

The competition was judged by very talented  Rony D'souza, Sr Vinutha D'souza and Fr Rayan Pinto. The occasion was graced by parish priest Fr Maxim Norohna and Asst parish priest Fr Ashwin Crasta.

The event was co-ordinated by ICYM president Avinash Dsouza and secretary Annet Dsouza.

The competitors came up with  melodious voices which in the run attracted the audience as such. All our young maestros who took part in the competition made the event a great success.

The winners were well appreciated by the judges. Carmel ward bagged the first place and Assisi ward secured the second place in both exhibition and singing. St Sebastian ward secured the third place in singing. Third place in the Marian exhibition was bagged by Church ward and St Theresa ward.
