Bengaluru, Sep 14: A new thunderstorm has risen in the coalition government of JD (S) and Congress in the state. This is added to the various developments that are taking place daily, which does not augur well for the stability of the state government.
It is learnt that former Prime Minister Deve Gowda is fuming against the former chief minister Siddaramaiah. He has sent a message to Congress high command saying "Siddaramaiah is responsible for all the political developments that are taking place in the coalition government. He needs to be contained soon."
"Former chief minister Siddaramaiah needs to be taken to task. If this is not done, definitely the coalition government will not survive. My son Kumaraswamy is being harassed continuously from the day he has become the chief minister of the state. You have to intervene and put this right. Otherwise, we also know what to do," Deve Gowda warned to the Congress high command.
Deve Gowda has informed AICC president Gulam Nabhi Azad that "The coming Lok Sabha election in the year 2019 is as important to us as it is to your party. If the Congress leaders do not stop their gimmicks, we know to divert the path."
It needs to be seen how the Congress high command responds to this statement given by the JD(S) supremo.
