Panaji: Cidade de Goa Hosts "Vendors Meet"

Panaji, Oct 12:
Cidade de Goa hosted its second Vendor's Meet in recognition of local entrepreneurship development, encouraging local business and enhancing the local economic community on 10th october 2008.

All the Senior Management of Cidade de Goa were present for the function.

"The Vendor Meet served as an appropriate forum for highlighting the close and positive relationship the management and staff of Cidade de Goa enjoy with the local business vendors" said Neeta Sen, General Manager.
 
Ajit Barretto, Purchase Manager highlighted the need for everyone to keep the global business scenario in mind and work towards conserving costs which would enhance the guest experience. I. B. Muchandi, Company Secretary spoke on the need for an equal partnership and enhancing the win win situation for a long term relationship. Chef Prasad Paul, Executive Chef highlighted the need for all vendors to move towards international standard of doing business and to invest in IT facilities.

Later at the Open house session all the vendors reiterated the successful relationship they have had with Cidade de Goa over the years and complimented the Management of Cidade de Goa in winning over the many challenges over the years. 
 
This also marks the resorts efforts in continuing to build and sustain awareness of discerning customers who are socially conscious.

At the end, Digambar Phadte, Assistant Purchase Manager thanked all the vendors for their unstinting support all through the year and mentioned that many of the vendors present were having a positive business relationship with Cidade de Goa over a decade.
