Bengaluru, Jul 16: Dr G Parameshwar, DCM has informed that he, along with Siddaramaiah and D K Shivkumar will go to Delhi on June 18 to discuss the cabinet expansion and nomination to the corporation boards with the party high command.
Parameshwar also said, " A meeting of MPs is called in Delhi to discuss the stand of Karnataka with regards to the Cauvery water sharing issue. At the same time, we will meet the high command and discuss the expansion of the state cabinet and also the nomination for various corporation boards.
"After the formation of the coalition government, sharing of ministership and corporation board is done. However, the decision of naming people to corporation boards from the Congress party is yet to be done. We will discuss this with the high command and fill all the positions as soon as possible. There is no need for any suspicion in this matter."
Mass leadership for upcoming Loksabha elections
Dr G Parameshwar has clarified that Congress will contest the next Loksabha elections under the mass leadership. He also said that there are many senior leaders in the party including Mallikarjun Kharge, leader of Congress parliamentary party, Siddaramaiah, former chief minister and Dinesh Gundu Rao, president of KPCC. So all will unite and face the elections.
The DCM further clarified the issue of 'Anna Bhagya' and said, "The stand of Congress with regards to the reduction in the rice quantity in the 'Anna Bhagya' scheme is clear. All the schemes introduced by the Congress government will continue in the coalition government. The chief minister has clarified that he will take action to increase the quantity of rice to seven kg."

Reacting to the question of the scribes with regards to the tearful eyes and emotional expression of H D Kumaraswamy in the meeting held on Saturday, July 14 of JD (S) activists that he is not happy, Parameshwar said, "There is nothing wrong. The CM is happy."
