Kundapur, Jul 13: “Any problems can be solved by unity. Unity is necessary for all the communities. The coming together of civic workers in this direction is a good development. When solutions to problems are difficult, it is possible to fight for them by getting united,” said president of Kundapur municipal council Vasanti Sarang.
She was speaking after inaugurating Paura Karmikara Sangha, new association of civic workers at Dr B Ambedkar Bhavan here on Friday, July 13.
“Cleanliness can be seen in Kundapur because of the efforts of civic workers. We can say that cleanliness means civic workers. Their work is commendable,” she said.
Veteran civic worker Sathish chaired the programme. Chief officer Gopalakrishna handed over monetary help to the mother of civic worker, late Kiran.
Municipal council vice-president Rajesh Kaveri, advocate Manjunath Giliyar, Raju Bettinamane, V Prabhaker and president of Paura Karmikara Sangha, Nagaraja were present.
Ganesh welcomed and compered the programme.
