Mangaluru, Jul 12: The child care centre of Kutharpadav based Mangala Seva Samithi, recipient of state award, will hold a programme of planting coconut tree saplings in their new site near the byre at Beejaguri, Fajir on July 22.

Hundreds of saplings will be planted on the occasion. The programme will be held from 8 am to 10 am.

Mangala Seva Samithi wishes that interested people plant a sapling by themselves and donate Rs 5,000 per plant to the trust to look after its growth. The generous donation for the ‘Vriksha Mithra’ plan is exempted from income tax under section 80(G). Necessary pits will be dug and the saplings will be made available at the spot.
