Puttur, Jul 11: The girl student of a college here, who had gone missing all of a sudden about a month back, was found from Nallasopara, Mumbai. It has been found that she had married her lover and started living in Mumbai.

Shubhashree (19), daughter of Divakar Acharya from Mura in Padnur village here had gone missing. In a police complaint, the girl's mother, Jayanthi M D, had told the personnel of the town station here that her daughter had gone missing since June 8.

Shubhashree, who had completed first year of her degree course in a private college in the town had summer holidays. She was preparing for attending second year degree class, and on June 8, reportedly left home by telling her family that she would come back after getting information about fee payable at her college. She did not return thereafter.

The town police, who took up investigation, found out that Shubhashree was living with her lover, Akshay D'Souza (23) in Mumbai. Inspector of the station, Mahesh Prasad, and staff, who went to Mumbai and brought the duo here, presented them in the court. As Shubhashree told the court that she had married Akshay out of her free will, the court allowed her to accompany her husband.

It is gathered that Akshay, who is from Maharashtra, was working for a textiles shop here where he got to know Shubhashree who worked at the same shop during college holidays. During this period, both began to love each other, it is gathered.

It was not good from the girl to lie and go to marry someone ,without inofrming the parents.why should she runaway in a night and nebel action ,lie to parents and marry?Would her parents not agreed to her friendship? If she wanted to marry anyone ,first finish her studies ,plan a future and marry.but inform parents.Afterall parents brought her up,educated atleast till now.Neglecting them and education half hanged, now?who and how they will live in Mumbai without any basic ?Mmbai is very costly.Atleast their parents would have taken part in their happiness .simply hurried to marry witout thinking.Even the boy should have been bit wiser.could atleast think a bit and adviced her to finish her studies..what about his parents? They knew atleast?Young blood .Hope they will be happy in future.dont give up .wish you both ahappy married life.

Why is no one calling it "love jihad"? Is that term reserved only when a non-Muslim girl marries a Muslim?
