Bengaluru: LPG cylinder explodes - boy succumbs to injuries

Bengaluru, Jul 10: Firoze, who had been admitted into hospital after suffering extensive injuries when a LPG cylinder blasted, failed to respond to treatment and succumbed on Monday morning July 9.

While cylinders were illegally getting refilled in a house at Pattegara Palya, Vijayanagar here on Sunday afternoon, some gas got leaked during the process, giving rise to the said blast. Firoze had suffered severe burn injuries in the blast and was admitted into Victoria Hospital here. His condition did not improve even on treatment.

The police who are investigating the case said that Firoze used to work for the owner of the LPG refilling unit since the last six months.
