Mangaluru, Jul 9: ICYM Cascia unit organised ‘Nenthyanchi Sopna’, a craft and collage competition, to bring out creativity in children of all age groups on Sunday, July 8 at Cascia church hall.

Fr Harold Mascarenhas, parish priest, St Rita Church, Cascia inaugurated the programme along with Jossy Theodore, vice-president, Cascia parish pastoral council and Rollen Cutinha, president, ICYM Cascia unit. Fr Harold Mascarenhas wished all the participants best of luck.

The craft competition was conducted for the age groups from 1st to 4th standard and 5th to 7th standard, whereas the collage competition was held for the participants from 8th standard to PUC. There were 30 participants for craft and 13 teams of 2 each in a group for collage. Joywin Madtha and Disha were the judges for the competition. The parishioners witnessed another successful event organised by the ICYM members. This was the first event of ‘Thalenthacho Pavs Season-2’.
