Moodbidri: Jeevan K Shetty files nomination papers as JD(S) candidate

Moodbidri, Apr 25: Jeevan K Shetty handed over his nomination papers for the assembly election from Mulky-Moodbidri constituency on Monday April 23. He happens to be the official candidate of JD(S) in this constituency. Accompanied by veteran JD(S) leaders, K Amarnath Shetty, M B Sadashiva, Praveen Chandra Jain, Riyaz Karnad and Sunil Kumar, he went to the Nada Kacheri here and filed his nomination papers.

He was accompanied by hundreds of supporters.

Before submitting his nomination papers, Jeevan K Shetty visited different religious centres. After the cavalcade of vehicles accompanying him which began its journey from Bappanadu temple in Mulky reached the party's office here, Jeevan addressed his supporters. Former minister, K Amarnath Shetty, M B Sadashiva, Iqbal Ahmed Mulky, Diwakar Shetty, Harish Putran, Riyaz Karnad, Praveen Chandra Jain, Haneef Alangar, Pruthvi Ullas, leaders of BSP and others were present at the programme.

After the meeting, Jeevan was taken in a procession to the Nada Kacheri where he handed over his nomination papers.
