Mangaluru, Apr 6: Mayur Shetty’s directorial venture ‘My Name is Annappa’ is all set to create a record in Coastalwood for having the most number of characters.

The film will have 130 characters which is a first in Tulu films. According to producer Rohan Shetty, the characters will not be merely blink and miss, but will have dialogues.

‘My Name is Annappa’ stars Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Sathish Bandale, ‘Comedy Khiladigalu’ fame Hithesh Kumar Kapinadka, Mr Karnataka International winner Sandeep Shetty Katipalla and others.

Actor Manju Rai will make his first appearance as lead hero. A new face from Canada, Shubha, will make her debut as lead actress in the film.

Well-known Sandalwood actor Rangayana Raghu will also make his debut in Coastalwood with an appearance in the film.

Mayur Shetty apart from directing the film has handled the story, screenplay and the lyrics. Five songs will be composed by music director Kishore Kumar Shetty.
