Mangaluru: Preparation for Rahul Gandhi’s visit in full swing - Ramanath Rai

Mangaluru, Mar 19: District in-charge Ramanath Rai informed that Congress national president Rahul Gandhi will visit Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district on March 20 and 21.

Addressing media here on Monday, March 19, Ramanath Rai said, “On March 20 in the afternoon, Rahul Gandhi will land at Mangaluru airport and then proceed to inaugurate Rajiv Gandhi Political Institute (Seva Dal Training Institute) and address Seva Dal state office bearers at Yermal in Udupi. I will take part in a road show at Padubidri and Mulki and then speech at Surathkal. Rahul Gandhi will then arrive at Jyothi circle for a procession to Nehru Maidan where he will address the public,"

“After the public meet at Nehru Maidan, he will visit Kudroli Temple, Rosario Church and Ullal Dargah. Rahul Gandhi will stay at Circuit House. On March 21, Rahul Gandhi will meet Block Congress president and senior leaders of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi and later will proceed to Chikkamagaluru," he added.

“The preparation for Rahul Gandhi’s visit is in full swing. BJP have never fulfilled their promises. BJP has recently lost elections for not fulfilling their promises. Congress has good hold in the district here. Last time, we had managed to win seven constituencies out of eight. Congress has a vast history in the district in producing several leaders who worked for the party. Several people friendly schemes and development works have been successfully implemented in the district. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has introduced many schemes such as Anna Bhagya, Ksheera Bhagya, providing lap tops, free education and many more. Dakshina Kannada district has benefited by all these schemes,” he informed.

Minister for Food and Civil supplies U T Khader, president of district Congress committee Harish Kumar, former district Congress president Ibrahim Kodijal and others were present.

    People are living in which era ?!! why they need to listen to any of the politicians what they brings to them ?? go and dont waste your time to listen the bakwas ! go and make some constructive work !

    By the way you have to travel all along with public transport with the sweat and wait for the almighty to come on the stage ! the mighty politician will show off as per his convenient timing, may be you have to wait 1 or 2 hours. All the comforts provided to politician except you but you are a not less than a goat ?

    DK Congress is working hardly to make the program a grand success.
