Udupi: Pictures of Rahul Gandhi, Siddaramaiah missing on Madhwaraj’s campaign vehicle

Udupi, Mar 16: Udupi MLA and district in-charge minister Pramod Madhwaraj's campaign vehicle has raised eyebrows because of the conspicuous absence of Congress party leaders, including that of AICC president Rahul Gandhi and chief minister Siddaramaiah.

Not just that, the vehicle does not even have the image of the Congress party's symbol.

The absence of the Congress symbol and the party leaders' images has led some to once again question if Madhwaraj would be joining the BJP.

The vehicle is drawing the attention of the public. Despite being a publicity vehicle, it carries no details of the government or its welfare programmes. Only the picture of minister Madhwaraj is displayed prominently on it.

'My step towards development, let your step be with mine' is inscribed on vehicle. There has been no attempt made to reflect on the achievements of the government on the vehicle.

The news of the minister joining the BJP had got wings a few months ago. The minister himself had rubbished the rumours.

Municipal council member and Youth Congress leader Kanchan speaking to a media said, "Madhwaraj joining BJP is a joke. He is still in Congress and will remain in it. Stop the propaganda in favour of BJP. Madhwaraj has said several times that he will not join the BJP."

    No one will stop him if he wants to join other party. It will not make any difference to the Congress party. Money power should stop in politics. As per history of Udupi MP and MLA seats, leaders not stable in their position, lets everyone have their turn.

    We respect your style election promotions.But never go astray.You look best as a congress candidate just like how Deepika with Ranveer.
    Good Party and a loyal candidate must go hand in hand.They are are like heart and brain of politics.
    If a heart of man joins with brain of donkey , that product will not survive much longer .

    Very intriguing. Politicians are politicians. Religion, culture, conscience dead but use them as long as serves to gain vote bank. Absence of party symbol, party leaders is deliberate and indicates hidden agenda for certain. Get ready for last minute surprise if not shock.
    If you take this development in the context of the recent entry of a swamy who praised Madhwaraj, it all seems to be a well planned strategy. Chanakya tactics, be sure.

    Look at the sad state of Indian politics-
    One majority cast can win a candidate from a particular constituency & take others for ransom. I agree that Mr. Madhwaraj is doing development, but this development is because people are paying taxes be it house tax, income tax or GST & one of the state where it's collected maximum is our state & we do not get proper facility. Look at the Shirva fish market. I'm sure some middle-men have made money in that. There could be various other projects too.
    Fishermen are getting subsidy & all the facility at tax payer's money & they have the capability to elect a leader whichever party it might be. Do all the citizens of coastal Karnataka & beyond get fresh fish at reasonable price. Then what is the point in paying subsidy, electronic fish market & all that.
    People, if we need to eat fresh fish at reasonable price, airport with extended runway, good railway infrastructure with electic locomotives & good highways with prompt construction then elect a party other than Congress & BJP. Give AAP a chance or Kamal Hassan's party " Ammer panther malla kelasa malpuverge"

    He is very smart. Nothing is wrong as long as he is loyal to the party.

    Look at the developments and the goodness of the person, not the party symbol and faces of the party members. All may not like some of the faces of the party leaders.     As long as it has digital screen it can easily play Rahul Gandhi, Siddaramaiah on the screen.

    But I would like to request Mr.Madhwaraj to use this screen to educate voters about the BJP's failed policies in Kannada and Tulu. The screen should also show comparison charts during UPA rule NDA on price rise, petroleum prices, unemployment, GST, national security, corruptions under NDA, inflation and so on.
    I would also like to request no personal attacks and cheap politics. No religious talks. Only development and nation first.
    Do not answer questions to BJP's questions other than development. For one question ask two questions for BJP in your speech.
