Sandalwood actor Diganth inaugurated 'The Grand Indian Thali', an authentic vegetarian restaurant at City Centre Mall on Friday, February 2.
U T Khader, minister for food and civil supplies, and Deepak Shetty, Kannada movie actor were present as chief guests.
Diganth congratulated the owners of the restaurant and said, "My native is Teerthahalli, so I have close ties with Mangaluru. I can understand Tulu language very well. I never miss an opportunity to taste local cuisines whenever I visit Mangaluru. I am happy to inaugurate ‘The Great Indian Thali’. No doubt this restaurant will serve great food.
