Jeddah, July 28: The annual general body meeting of Jamiyyatul Falah (JF), Jeddah Unit, was held recently at Shaheen Restaurant, Azizia district, Jeddah. The meeting began with the Qur’aan recitation.  Rafiq Faizalbouy, founder member of International Indian School, Jeddah was the chief guest on the occasion. 



JF is a non-profit orgnization established in 1988 in Mangalore, having its units in various gulf Countries, which is dedicated for the upliftment of the poor and needy members of the Muslim community in the undivided Districts - Mangalore and Udupi in Karnataka state. Providing education to one and all, is the prime objective of JF, which is based on the slogan,“Education is the key to Success”.


The following office bearers of the Jeddah unit of the organization were elected for the year 2008-2009, at the meeting.

1. Mohd Iqbal Yousuf - founder member

2. S M Jaffer -  president

3. Shabih Ahmed Kazi - Vice–president

4. Asif Ahmed Bajpe -  Vice–president

5. Mohd Mansoor -  general secretary

6. Habibur Rahman -  joint secretary

7. Iqbal Mirza    press secretary

8. Syed Mohd Shafy - treasurer

9. Mohd Iqbal  -  joint treasurer.


In addition, another 17 committee members were also elected.
