Sullia: Improper behaviour with girl who lost cellphone - youth arrested

Daijiworld Media Network - Sullia (SP)

Sullia, Jan 18: A girl from here had lost her cellphone at car street during travel a few days back. A young man from Ballari had found the lost cellphone. When the girl called her number through another cellphone, the boy who picked the call reportedly spoke with the girl in improper manner.

The girl had taken part in car festival when her mobile phone was lost at car street here. The instrument was found by Veeresh from Ballari. When the girl called her cellphone number with the purpose of getting it back, Veeresh is said to have used filthy language with her, and invited her to meet her at some places of his choice. The girl thereafter complained to the local police.

As per the suggestion of the police, the girl contacted Veeresh again. He asked the girl to come near Gandhinagara in the town at 10.30 pm.

The police sub-inspector of the local station, dressed as auto rickshaw driver, drove an auto rickshaw to Gandhinagara area along with women police constables. Veeresh, who was waiting for the girl, spoke to the girl indecently again, it is learnt.

As soon as the boy handed over the cellphone to the girl, the police arrested him and registered a case against him.

Guys, don't get into a conclusion based on statement of a girl, i don't think the youth in concerned is so fool that he speaks filthy with an unknown girl and calls her to meet him in person, he was 100% for sure of getting caught, the girl would have mistaken him of stealing her mobile, and they might have had an altercation on the phone, so now the girl wants to teach him a lesson.
May be i am wrong, this is just my guess

    Prashant,

How can you be wrong ? You are so very right. Actually boys don't know the existence of a place called 'Police Station'. Therefore they investigate matters related to girls/boys' respective community and decide whom a girl should talk to/date and whom not. Similarly, this man too could not hand over the phone he found to the police so he decided to keep it and when the girl called, he decided to handle the matter by himself.

Well, its the girls who are always wrong - whether deciding about whom to date or how to reclaim their lost belongings. Wrong even when they took help of the police.

Shahid, for every offence there is reasonably equal punishment pescribed by law. We indians are not interested in any gulf laws.
If the boy has committed a crime, he will face punishment according to indian established laws..

That is why India is still third world country and gulf leads the chart.

Gulf law is scary. hence the crime rate is negligible.
Indian law is just putting in jail and people are not scared.

In a couple of days you will again hear the similar story... and the life goes on.....

    Subramaniyam,

Mangalore and Kasargod both are part of India but people in Mangalore are different. The boys here are saints, who do not tolerate their girls talking to boys of other communities. Well, when the girls need to talk to them, they take advantage like the man here.

Therefore, you too keep relevance with Kasargod,
