Mangalore, Jul 24: Jaishree Ramchandran, Regional Manager for Air India Dubai and northern Emirates, was one of the few who were actively involved with realizing the long cherished dream of direct services to Mangalore from Dubai, for which she deserves wholehearted appreciation from the Mangalorean community.

Jaishree, who joined Air India Dubai in January 2005, joined as marketing manager for Dubai and northern Emirates and later was re-designated as regional manger for Dubai and northern Emirates.

When the UAE government declared that all the illegal immigrants to the Emirates would be expatriated, Jaishree Ramchandran was the first person to come forward to help the poor Indians to reach their respective home towns, by reducing fare to the level that was affordable. She deserves full credit for her kind gesture in showing empathy on all those amnesty seekers.

Even though she is leaving Dubai after completing three and half years tenure in the UAE, Jaishree will always be remembered as a “friend in need” who was always eager to help others.

On Behalf of the entire Mangalorean Community, Rajesh Sequeira, coordinator, Karnataka NRI Forum, handed over a memento to Jaishree and thanked her for all the support she had extended to the community, specially in the matter of making  direct flights to Mangalore a reality.
