Mangaluru, Jan 10: The post graduate department of Commerce, St Agnes College, held the valedictory programme of their two-day international conference on Global Management Myopia at 4.30 pm on Tuesday, January 9.
The chief guest of the programme was P V Vilas Nayak, chairman and director, Hanuman Group of Concerns. In his valedictory address, he gave insights on use of human resource in nation building.
Prof P S Yedapadithaya, former registrar and professor, department of PG Studies & Research in Commerce, Mangalore University, Mangalagangothri was the guest of honour.
More than 80 research papers were presented by academicians, industrialists and students at the two-day programme. Three best student papers were awarded with cash prizes.
The programme was presided over by Dr Noeline Pinto, coordinator for PG Studies, St Agnes College (Autonomous) and Sr Dr Venessa, the vice-principal, St Agnes College (Autonomous). Delan Lobo, student vice-president of MCom Department compered the programme, the vote of thanks was rendered by student convenor Velita Lobo and the programme concluded with the national anthem.
