SPC Puttur hosts valedictory programme of NSS special camp

Puttur, Jan 2: The valedictory programme of the annual special camp of National Service Scheme of St Philomena College here was held on January 1 at DKZP Upper Higher Primary School Odya, Panaje in the taluk.

The associate professor in Political Science, Government First Grade College for women, Puttur, Prof Ivan Francis D’Souza delivered the valedictory address. He said, "Labour, work and action are the three important determinants of success in all our activities."

The president of Panaje PACS Padmanabha Borker, former president of SDMC School Gopalakrishna Bhat Kakekocchi, Kannada teacher of Subodha High School Panaje Sripathi Bhat, Bettampady Cluster resource person Janardhan, president of SDMC Srikrishna Bhat Batyamoole, headmistress Manjula M N and graduate teacher of the school Usman participated as the chief guests.



The campus director and chairman of PG Studies and Research of the College Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro presided over the programme.

The camp Officer Shashiprabha B welcomed the gathering. The NSS unit leader Chaithra and secretary Shreesha Prasad shared their camp experiences. The camp officer Madhusudan N proposed the vote of thanks. Smitha K compered the programme.
