Udupi, Dec 31: Dr Sanjeev M Patil, hitherto superintendent of police (SP) of Udupi district, has been transferred. Laxman Nimbargi comes in his place as new SP.

Sanjeev Patil has been promoted as Deputy Commissioner of Police – Administration in Bengaluru.

The above order came from the home ministry on Sunday, December 31.

Laxman Nimbargi was working as assistant superintendent of police in Chitradurga till now.
