Mangaluru: New deputy commissioner of DK Sasikanth Senthil takes charge

Mangaluru, Oct 19: New deputy commissioner Sasikanth Senthil of Dakshina Kannada took charge of his office here in a simple ceremony here on Thursday October 19.

He succeeds Dr K G Jagadeesha, who has been transferred as director of mines and geology department, Bengaluru.

Senthil was welcomed to his new office by ADC Kumar, in the presence of ZP CEO Dr M R Ravi, Mangaluru assistant commissioner Renuka Prasad and others.

Sasikanth Senthil S, an IAS officer of the 2009 batch, hails from Tamil Nadu and has previously served as DC of Raichur. He holds a BE degree in electrical and communications.

The new DC is yet to address the media.
