Forget about Jappinamogaru to be International Tourist Spot. First and Foremost urgently attended to is Gurupur river overbridge which was to be consrtucted years ago.

Good that you are all planning big things .But everyone should start from primary school ,and then go to higher. In mangalore ,we dont have any infrastructure .Do it first. No proper roads potholes everywhere you see,Where should tourists sleep ?without proper toilets ?You beginn everywhere, dont finish it ,again start something else.you yourself are not sure may be what to do how to do.by the next election start again.Start somewhere, like children eat a bit, leave it and start somewhere else a bit.Best do for the living people there good roads ,Footpath toilets.then lets talk about tourists.Tourists are afraid to come to India because of malaria ,and lot of dirty roads dirty envirement.

Instead of making Jappinmogaru a international tourist spot, it is advisable to make our coastline area a beautiful spot. Can't we have a corniche from Thannir Bhavi beach to Surathkal beach like we have in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and many european countries. It will cost several crores of rupees. If we remove all the A to Z security given to politicians in Karnataka that money can be used for developing a corniche.
The drive towards Thanner bhavi is disgusting, the kuloor bridge is also disgusting, the sultan battery and many other spots can be developed, but we have left all these areas and gone to jappinmogaru for what, fail to understand.

I am watching since so many years , a simple bridge could not be built across Gurupur river from Sulthan Battery to Thannirbhavi . Our elected representatives will blame the various Govt . departments for the delay . Now the people inside Mangalore city have to travel either to Panambur/Thannirbhavi beach or Ullal/Someshwar beach using congested National Highway . A motorable bridge costing around Rs15-20 crores could develop the areas around Sulthan battery and Thannirbhavi . Also the beach goers have the shortest distance to travel by building this important bridge . Hope Mr. J R Lobo will build this bridge during his tenure .

    Dear sir.

First of all Thanks for recogonizing our area and city as International tourst place. but please develop jeppinamogeru area first. no proper drainage system or storm water drain. in the rainy season it is disasater.
they have laid concrete road and drainage system but it is of no use because lack of proper design by the contractor and dont know how it has been approved. due to which the water flows towards low lying areas.we people have approached the the mayor, drainage system, even swatch bharath sanchalan. etc. but of know use. only blaming game is going on.
    Its typical political gymics.

Naturally Mangalore and entire coastal area is an excellent tourist spot.
In the last 50-60 years, our region has made tremendous progress in education, health, human resource development etc.
If people remain harmonious, well behaved, positive and healthy and do not get corrupted by controversies created by sick, negative and evil minds, surely our region will become an international tourist destination.

Natural beauty is not enough, humans should be complimenting with the nature; otherwise it will be like Jammu & Kashmir!
Making it tourist destination will be very beneficial for the progress of business, education, real estate and overall benefit of the region!

Foot parts, ovr head bridges etc..
Also, please do not try to change historical names whereever that applies.
It is Left up to the readers to believe it or not !

Good ur waking up now and doing work. But question arise is what we’re u doing for last 4 &1/2 years?? Why big money projects when elections are nearing?? This happens with all the political party. Hope common man gets to know about single rupees spent on the work. Rule should be made that once the project is completed the details of all the money spent and warranty should be given(applicable for roads Especially). If found some malpractice there should be no court trail direct jail for 10yrs with fine of amount of the project.
