Bengaluru, Oct 18: BJP Other Backward Classes (OBC) wing president B J Puttaswamy is planning to protest in front of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) if it does not file an FIR against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah within one week.
Based on a complaint by N R Ramesh, a former member of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, who named Siddaramaiah and senior government officials for causing Rs 300 crore loss to BDA, Puttaswamy said that it is a “clear case of corruption” and he would take up the issue with the ACB.
On October 10, Puttaswamy filed a complaint with the ACB accusing Siddaramaiah of “illegally denotifying” 6.26 acres of Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) in survey Nos. 20 and 21 at Bhoopasandra, Bangalore North Taluk, and this had resulted in the loss of Rs 300 crore.

Meanwhile, Siddaramaiah hit back at Puttaswamy and accused him of making a “false” allegation with an intention to tarnish his image ahead of the assembly polls to be held next year.
Asserting that there are no documents that prove that he passed such an order, he said he is planning to take legal action against Puttaswamy.
Puttaswamy also demanded that the government should constitute a legal team headed by former Lokayukta Santhosh Hegde to scrutinise the charges. He said that he had submitted documents pertaining to both cases to the Chief Minister’s Office.
