Bengaluru: Woman software engineer complains about cow slaughter - earns wrath of crowd

Bengaluru, Oct 16: In an incident which happened in the city on Sunday October 15, an employee of a software company here, who displayed her love for animals, was subjected to murderous attack.

The woman in question has been identified as Nandini, a senior level official in a prestigious software company here. She had complained to Talaghattapura station about illegal cow slaughter. When she was returning in the company of some police constables, miscreants tried to kill her.

When a crowd having over a hundred members, which reportedly was raising pro-Pakistani slogans, attacked Nandini, the constables accompanying her ran away instead of shielding her, it is said. The incident happened near the slaughterhouse at Talaghattapura. In this incident, Nandini suffered serious injuries, and her car was thoroughly damaged.

A complaint about this incident was registered in Talaghattapura police station.

Maneka Sanjay Gandhi is the Indian Union Cabinet Minister for Women & Child Development in the Government of PM Narendra Modi. She is also an animal rights activist, environmentalist.
Even though she serves in Modi's Cabinet , the government has surpassed all record and made 'pink revolution'. Beef exports remains the only foreign exchange and best performing industry under his government.
It is absolutely wrong to attack for women whose passion is love for cows. But remaining silent to the policies of government on 'beef exports' and 'lynching' is not acceptable.
As far as 'pro-Pakistani' slogan, we have heard similar allegations by prestigious news channel like Zee TV which also broadcasted fake news chip embedded Indian currencies which is yet be proved.
Now Karnataka assembly elections are closing in 'Cow' remains one of the big issue for BJP. As there are similarity in UP election campaign in Karnataka, issues like this will be exploited foment communal hatred.
I would request this lady write an open letter to 'Go Shalas' which has seen numerous death in BJP ruled own states as well as mutt in Karnataka if her cause is serious.
Kannadigas need to be more vigilant in the coming days which may see a spike of incidents related to 'cow slaughter' and 'anti national' slogan etc.
We do not want 'Godhra Model' or Muzaffarnagar in Karnataka which has given immense returns to the nation and the world.

Well, this is what happens when a common man does the right thing. Her mistake was she reported to the police station.

Now you guess what people like her would do next time they feel the urge to stop such "illegal" activities. They will call the right people with ability to handle such people and the cattle. Result: Media will cry foul and report the growing "intolerance".

This so-called exported beef is from the legal licensed slaughter houses and it includes buffalo meat also. You will understand if you can check the meat and if you can read the labels in English and Arabic.

Homa's, Yajna's, Kola's are made by sacrificing animals and then consuming the meet offered to the deity, and people had no problem.
Now all of a sudden there are so many restrictions with regard to the life style the citizen of India (free India) wants to live with.

Slaughter is required to control polulation, reasons for it are
1. People carelessly leave cattle to graze on roads and highways causing accidents
2. aged animals are let loose and abandoned , what becomes of these? Accidents

we need to have a program or something to take care of these , i drive daily , every day there are at least a dozen cattle feeding on garbage and so on , do you want to consume that milk?

because the Government is careless and does not impose proper laws people end up doing things the way they feel is right ,

more than all this, if the law is set up to manage this, things will be relatively peaceful

Well, no one should object if you eat legal beef.. absolutely no one should. but do you know the majority of beef come from illegal slaughter houses, that get stolen calf, pregnant cow etc from poor farmer families? So if you go by numbers, every 7 biryani out of 10 biryani are from stolen cattle..
if this makes people to be proud of cattle theifs and abuse that hapless woman, I seriously feel that the cattle thief supports are worst humans like cattle theifs.

Btw, I lost a calf during summer to the thieves.
