Bengaluru, Oct 16: In an incident which happened in the city on Sunday October 15, an employee of a software company here, who displayed her love for animals, was subjected to murderous attack.
The woman in question has been identified as Nandini, a senior level official in a prestigious software company here. She had complained to Talaghattapura station about illegal cow slaughter. When she was returning in the company of some police constables, miscreants tried to kill her.
When a crowd having over a hundred members, which reportedly was raising pro-Pakistani slogans, attacked Nandini, the constables accompanying her ran away instead of shielding her, it is said. The incident happened near the slaughterhouse at Talaghattapura. In this incident, Nandini suffered serious injuries, and her car was thoroughly damaged.
A complaint about this incident was registered in Talaghattapura police station.
