Because of some irresponsible person an innocent has to loose life.

Stict punishment with high penalty in crores if not able to pay confiscate property . unless strict punishment given reckless drivers will not improve.

1)Drunk and drive drivers license to be cancelled for 2 years .
    2) Drunk drivers causing any accident to be cancelled for 5 years,
3)I f any fatality caused by drunken driver then the licensee to be canceled for ever.
This is my view and prayer for implementation.
Other penalties and punishments as as per the law to be strictly adhered.

1)One solution is close the bars- that’s hard to do so
2)Next is all bar owners should check the people who enters the bar should hand over there key to bar people. Bar people should hire drivers so that they ll leave them to there house.
3)If that is also not possible then people should not get cars or bikes for bar either they should come by Ola or über.
3rd option make win win situation for bar people and for drinkers.
Hope they make a strict rules on this matter

    John Tauro,
I agree with your second point. Bar owners who serve liquor to obviously inebriated patrons must be made liable jointly with the drunk drivers both in civil law (for compensation to victims) and criminally for negligence in not ensuring the patron is not inebriated. This is done in other countries, including Canada.

    So.... The drama continues....

As per the Instructions of Supreme Court / Central Govt., some liquor shops on the Highway were closed recently. Then State Govt tried its HUMBLE effort to bring smile on the face of arrack sellers. Now came a new news that Liquor shops within city is OK to operate.

The Concern here is drunkard drivers will harm to other people on the road in addition to themselves....

Is drinking a problem for those who are moving on the road only ???

Hom many ladies are crying for the drunkard sons/husbands who were snatching away the hard earned money of those ladies ??

Now .... Stringent POLICE provisions on DRUNK DRIVING....

Allowing sales on one side and exercising the POLICE with STRINGENT measures.....

Let the drama continue..... Let us see whether DRUNKARDs will win, Police will win, Govt will win, Ladies will win or LIQUOR sellers will win....
