Mangaluru: Yogi Adityanath releases Dr Ananth Prabhu’s book ‘I own the Monks Ferrari’

Media release

Mangaluru, Oct 5: ‘I own the Monks Ferrari’, book penned by Dr Ananth Prabhu G, was released by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath in the presence of Sri Ekagamyananda Maharaj from Ramakrishna Math. Member of Parliament Nalin Kumar Kateel, Vedavyas Kamath, Sanjay Prabhu and others were present.

Details on the book

In relation to the present generation it is observed the youth distancing themselves and choosing the unconventional pathways, usually Taamsic in nature. Tamas (Sanskrit for ‘darkness’) is one of the three Gunas (tendencies, qualities, attributes), a philosophical and psychological concept developed by the Samkhya school of Hindu philosophy. The other two qualities are rajas (passion and activity) and sattva (purity, goodness). Tamas is associated with darkness. It is said that a tamasic person is concerned with the self, dissatisfied and materialistic. Yogic practices aim to balance the three gunas, including tamas, in the yogi in order to elevate his/her state of mind to a higher plane.

Keeping this in mind, Dr Ananth Prabhu G has penned down his learning’s in his third book titled ‘I own the Monk’s Ferrari’ a fictional novel, which will help youth to understand the bridge between the physical, metaphysical and spiritual dimensions of life. The information provided in this book should help them understand the essence of spirituality and the true meaning of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. ‘The entire world is one family,’ is a common translation of this verse, and in the least we can understand that we may all have a common origin and we all belong to the same supreme God whom we refer by different names. If we dig deep in our past, we end up knowing that we are all related by blood. If we dig sideways in space, we find that we are related to the surrounding nature with environmental forces. And, if we dig deep inside of ourselves we find that we are related to each other by consciousness. In fact there is no two, there is just consciousness itself. And knowing this, one can proclaim and say, "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam."

The entire project is sponsored by Krishna J Palemar, Former Minister of Karnataka and with inputs from Sri Ramachandra Swamiji. Additional Director General of Police Sri Sanjay Sahay has penned the preface for the book. The sketches have been drawn by artist Laxminarayan and proof reading by Lynn Misquith.

Let him concentrate more in UP especially child health care and the growth of the state

Yogi Adityanath is in Kerala. Our advice to him is that he should first take care of Uttar Pradesh. But since he is there he should also visit the government hospitals to learn how health services should be provided and should also see how quality education is imparted in government schools.

The 'God's own country' which Prime Minister Modi compared to 'Somalia' is far better than rest of India. Let Yogi learn from Kerala and make his state 'Uttam Pradesh'.

This emotive religious issues won't help other than dividing the nation in religious lines. The person who can't provide study supply of Oxygen for dying children now wanted Keralites to vote for BJP.
Do Malayalis wanted Kerala to be UP is their own choice which many have already showed interest.

This show of strength is only to disturb the coexistence and unity of the state which BJP desperately wanted to divide on religious lines.

Dear Keralites don't fall to ploy of BJP which has already destroyed the North India. Despite richness and best workforce UP is know lacking due to government inability. Even world's heritage site 'Taj Mahal' which attracts millions of tourist is know off from UP's official tourism site. Apart from this his government wanted to cut 1000 trees citing 'Metro' development to endanger the archaeological site.

The man who wanted to rape dead women from the graves and hate Mother Theresa for humanitarian services should not be guest of Kerala. Even he is member of BJP.

This is BJP's fundamental problem it neither has a political idea or nor a development agenda that will find resonance with the people of the state, thanks to the unique socio-political legacy of the state for more than a century. Unless it comes up with a welfare-state politics that's better than what Kerala has long since achieved, BJP's development rhetoric will continue to evoke nothing but derision; and unless it comes up with a political thought that's markedly superior to that of the CPM-led left-front or the Congress-led democratic-front, it will continue to draw a blank. Unfortunately, jihad and terror are uncool, or rather foolish ideas because both are just bad imaginations.
This is precisely why the party crash lands as soon as it takes off. There's no momentum except the push from Delhi to carry it forward. Bereft of a progressive ideology, the party is a misfit in Kerala's politics. It may have reached a 10% vote-share that's tantalising Shah and others; but that's it. Moving head is almost impossible unless it gets Christians, who account for about 18% of the population, also on its side. It's really a long shot and still, won't be enough.
Polarisation of Hindus alone will not work because of the state's unique demography (roughly, only half the population is Hindu).
The party is cornered in Kerala because its development pitch is irrelevant to the state, and its anti-left and communal ideas are inconsistent with the the socio-political and cultural ethos of Keralites.
In other words, there's hardly any space for the BJP, except in troller-shops.
Yogi's southbound visit is nothing but to charge the communal atmosphere in order to vitiate voters. In other words BJP has nothing to show as development to the voters and wanted its communal leaders to troupe to engage the brains using emotive issues of religion over promised development.
Mangalore serves as 'Nagpur' for the party for its political ambition.

North Indians love Congress ruled Karnataka. Now even UP CM is impressed by secular Karnataka.
I think he'll keep coming back to the cleanest state of India, especially since his UP is in last place in Swachhatha rankings.

Yogi Adityanath must have thought that he is in a foreign land. Yogi's UP cannot match with Mangalore at any cost. Now Yogi has experienced paradise by visiting Mangalore. He would try to rejuvenate UP like Mangalore.
