Kasargod, Oct 3: Stones were pelted again at buses carrying BJP party workers who were returning from the 'Jan Raksha' rally that was flagged off by BJP national president Amit Shah at Payannur in Kannur district on Tuesday October 3.

The stone-pelting incidents were reported at Chervathur and Neeleshwar.

As the atmosphere turned tense, the police fired tear gas shells to control the situation in Chervathur.

BJP and CPI(M) workers clashed in several places. The BJP workers allegedly damaged a flag post at CITU office premises near Chervathur hospital. A garment shop at Kayyur was also damaged.

In Padannakad, Neeleshwar, two buses were damaged in the stone-pelting.

Window panes of KAH hospital in Chervathur were smashed as the mob pelted stones.

Earlier in the day, stones were pelted at two buses at Pallikara prior to the start of the rally.

The police have tightened security and taken precuationary measures across the district.

this is reverse osmosis by the BJP as they are capable to stage such actions to incite reactions. South India should discard all divisive forces who are bent on dividing our country.

All the damage (including the ones shown in the pic) was done by stone pelting BY BJP workers who wanted to manufacture violence to gain advantage in the region. Not a single BJP worker has been injured in the a"stone pelting" alleged by the headline, but public property worth lakhs have been damaged in attacks by the BJP men

Any sane minded person will condemn this heinous act...
In democratic India all have right to put forward their views...
Have a dialogue, counter argue and you too can protest peacefully...
But vandalism and damaging public property is highly unwarranted...
