Mangaluru: Catholic Sabha holds Jana Samparka Sabhe to address public grievance

Mangaluru, Oct 2: Catholic Sabha  Valencia unit held a day-long Jana Samparka Sabhe to address public grievances at St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia on Sunday, October 1.

Addressing the gathering, MLC Ivan D’Souza said that grievances of public can be solved by people’s representatives and officials. He also said that the state government has provided a lot of facilities for members of the minority community and also for the poor, and they should make good use of it.

Earlier, parish priest Fr James D’Souza welcomed the gathering.

Former mayor Jacintha Alfred, corporators Asha D’Silva, Abdul Rauf, and Appi, Sunil Monteiro of Mescom, Catholic Sabha president Anil Lobo, officials from Mangaluru City Corporation and others were present.

    Good crowd. Such janasamparka sabhe should be held once in 3 months and follow up action taken by reviewing all the complaints of ward members.
