Bengaluru: I will perform 'Nandi Dwaja' rituals in next year Dasara too - Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru, Sep 30 (DHNS): Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday said that he will be performing the Nandi Dwaja pooja rituals in next year Dasara too and asked is there any doubt in that.

“I will be worshipping Nandi Post in the next year Dasara festival also, Is there any doubt in that?," he asked the media persons.

Every year Chief Minister of Karnataka perform pooja to the Nandi Post in Amba Vilas palace premises before the Dasara procession.

“Karnataka has received a good amount of rainfall. There is no scarcity of fodder and water this year. Almost all the dams are full. We have given the good governance as we promised. I am sure we will be coming back to power next year and will worship Nandi post in next year Dasara too,” said the Chief Minister.

    This over-confidence is a sign of arrogance inherent to him and speaks eloquently for itself. People representative should be humble and simple, atleast during eve of elections, and should talk with honor and dignity with due respect to the system. He is underplaying with democratic rights of citizens and their rights for informed choices. How he can can perform Pooja at Nandi Dwaja next year if he is not selected by people of Karnataka, a very likely chance exists as of now, or the High Command push him to back seat? If the electorate miss subtle warning signals, Karnataka is lost for ever.....!

    All said and done we mangloreans would have appreciated a lot if for once siddaramaiah would have removed time from his busy schedule and visited our mangalur dasara festival. Politics has played its part I guess.

    A CM who has taken loan to the tune of not 2 or 3 times, but almost 100 times, yes unimaginable loan of 2lak crore burden, all in the name of bhagya to only favrite people, while poverty and farmer suicide goes non stop.. and terror elements having field day...
    I am afraid which decade the state can come out of the clutches of this humongous loan?

    Lesser said better for other towns and villages. farmers suicides in 1000s ..Taking away 37rs for petrol and blaming center for 70rs petrol...
    Well, there is 1kg rice from center money.. but projecting as if is from pappu's family.

    Oye…Siddanna….by mistake if CONGiss retain their power by collaborating with cunning JDS just to avoid BJP ruling too in Karnataka….you are not the CM for sure…. Because JDS doesn’t want deserter of JDS as CM in CONGiss rule and in your own Party insider will never allow you to become CM again. Because CONGiss is “Sab Ke Saath Loot Le” Party….but you allowed only your family members and closely held Party Members!!!
