The SP said that police have gained access to important clues relating to this case and exuded confidence of arresting all the accused shortly. He said that the special investigation team formed in the case is likely to take into custody the criminals involved in this case.
As per information, most of the members of two gangs which were involved in this friction, face several criminal cases. The members of both the gangs used to be friends in the past but they turned rivalry because of some misunderstanding over ganja trade. Kannur Putta, who belonged to Zia gang, was murdered in 2012 and Ijaz Kannur was accused of committing this murder. Ijaz was murdered by a gang led by Zia on October 31, 2014, when he was in a salon at Kannur. As per the theory of the police, the current murders were the fallout of earlier incidents.
