Mangaluru, Sep 17: Tulu film ‘Pattanaje’ has set the cash registers ringing at the box office. The film released on September 1 has been appreciated well by viewers and has earned good revenue.
The film is said to be quite different. It is being loved by the audience dismissing the myth that Coastalwood cinema lovers appreciate and watch only the comedy genre.
Directed by Thonse Vijay Kumar, the film has music composed by V Manohar. Vijay Kumar Kodialbail has penned the dialogues, while Suresh Babu has captured the movie.
The film has a story based on the life of Yakshagana artistes.
Shivdhwaj, Reshma Shetty, Chethan Rai Mani, Surya Roa, Surendra Hegde, Seetha Kothe and others are seen in prominent roles.
