Mangaluru, Sep 15: Rajeshwari Shetty and Navaneet Shetty, wife and son of Bhaskar Shetty, as well as astrologer, Niranjan Bhat, all of whom face the charge of killing Udupi-based NRI entrepreneur, Bhaskar Shetty, and burning his body in a Homa Kunda in Bhat's house, have been shifted to Shivamogga jail.
The trio had been kept in the district prison here since several months and were being produced in the court at Udupi on the dates of hearing. However, on September 11, a gang within the prison had launched murderous attack on Niranjan Bhat and Navaneet Shetty. Both had been admitted into the district Wenlock Hospital here with serious injuries after this incident.
