Mangaluru: Two youngsters arrested for eve-teasing girl student

Mangaluru, Sep 15: Police personnel from the women's police station in the city have arrested two youngsters on the allegation of harassing and eve-teasing a girl student. The arrested men have been identified as Rakshit Shetty (29) and Sajid (23), both from the city.

The two had got to know a girl student of a college here through Facebook. Thereafter, they began to trail her and harass the student. They also followed her in their scooter and often indulged in eve-teasing. Frustrated by this act, the student had filed complaint in the police station.

The police, in an operation conducted on Wednesday September 14, arrested both the accused and produced them in the court. They have been remanded to judicial custody. In the meanwhile, the girl's brave act in complaining against the culprits and getting them arrested has come in for lavish praise in social media.

    Good ,the girl did the right thing.Hope they have learnt the lesson.Why go behind a girl and start eveteasing whoom the y learnt in FB?when they had interst on her,just speak politely ,give smile ,and dont follow her.when you feel ,no response,just leave her alone.Respect a girl and you get respect back.But not hanging back of her ,teasing is the last thing you can do.what would they do suppose their own sister was in her position?I suppose they would hold the coller of the boys and teach a lesson isnt it?Good ,police have reacted.

    Harassing and eve teasing are not the ways to win a girl, but, it is rowdyism. If you want to win over a girl, dear friends, you have to build a monument, I mean, you have to work on it.

    If you’ve found the perfect girl, then it’s only natural that you want her to fall in love with you as fast as possible. Though it’s important not to rush her, there are a few things you can do to see if a girl is into you, capture her attention and make her want to be around you as often as she can. There are no guarantees in love, but you’ll never know whether it will work until you try !

    Attributes you need: Getting Her Attention, Learn to read body language, Signal your interest, Take care of yourself and dress to impress, Give her a reason to notice you, Make a sincere effort to get to know her, Be respectful, Building a Deep Connection, Make the effort to really listen to her and let her know that she is on your mind even when she is not around.

    Even with all this, if she is not impressed, there are plenty of fishes in the sea and try to catch other one. But, always be a gentleman.

    Who says communal harmony does not exists in Mangalore? A Hindu and a Muslim jointly stalking a girl. This is called as brotherhood and unity. Would have appreciated if they had used this for better use rather than stalking a girl on the road.

    Girls/Women are not a sexual object, are not for emotional abuse, they are more than that, they are brave, they are stronge, bold enough to teach others to fight the evil of eve teasing. Good examples for others to follow. Brave girl.
