Davangere, Sep 14: Elegance and grandeur marked the sets of Miss India Miss Supertalent pageant finale, on Sunday, September 10, at Genesis Retreat Resort, Davangere, as winners were crowned in a star-studded ceremony.
The contest was organised by Fashion ABCD, and is a franchise of international pageant Miss Supertalent of the World.
Nisha Mavani from Gujarat was crowned the winner 'Miss India Supertalent'. Angelina from Uttar Pradesh was the first runner-up, and Prakruti Ramachandra from Karnataka and Suja S Nila from Tamil Nadu were declared the second and third runners-up repectively. Three Mangalureans Shreya Harish, Akshi Shetty, and Geeth Bangera, participated in the event. Shreya won the subtitle Miss Multimedia, based on how popular she was on social media. Shreya, being an avid blogger had a huge fan following on instagram and facebook. Akshi Shetty was among the top six, in the finals. Geeth Bangera won Miss Talented. The talent round saw 14 finalists display their varied talents. While some danced and others delivered dialogues, Geeth sang a Hindi fusion of Mile Ho Tum Humko, Ambarsariya, and Gulabi Aankhen, and won many hearts and the title.
The winner, Nisha Mavani will represent India in Miss Supertalent World - Season 9 to be held in South Korea and Japan from October 10 to October 28.
The finale was judged by Miss Asia USA Akhila Kethi Reddy, Sandalwood actress Sonal Monterio, Smile and Dental Aesthetics specialist Dr Siddarth Naik, international trainer at Toastmasters International Pradeep Kumar, Commissioner, Karnataka GST department Soumya Guled, and director of Pro Studio Roopa.
The finalists were judged on numerous parameters such as confidence, speaking skills, walk, behavior, team building, and super talent, among others. During the four days of the competition, international designer Anand Gupta, Bollywood producer Naresh Dudani, and socialite Dr Partima Totla, were the panel judges.
