Can any one ask God why ?
    Live in faith & belief
Life is temporary, death is inevittable.
Until then live fearlessly & happily.

Most of the time the visit is planned for the day and return immediately. Usually there is some more sightseeing done after the darshan. with this the driver of the vehicle hardly gets any rest and is in a hurry to reach the destination.
Then are the vehicles parked on the road at night without blinkers or other indicators. With the present powerful vehicles and high speed it's a recipe for disaster.
May the souls rest in peace.

    RIP!!
Rationally thinking, it's been a big suspense for me of almost entire families getting wiped out while going to or returning to/from very famous religious places with the intention of expecting wellness n protection from the respective deities; these ghastly accidents occurring at frequent intervals n killing innocents in diff parts of our country baffles me???

It is reported that they started back BY NIGHT. The driver was driving the car at high speed from Ankola to Yellapur and collided head on with the truck at the Arabail ghat curve. Arabail ghat has claimed in the past 9 months 30 lives in 85 accidents. Why blame the deities or the devils when one is reckless and does not learn even with umpteen such accidents and loss of lives? R.I.P.

You have a point there, though with my limited knowledge I do not understand what rationalism is and who is a rationalist. By mistake I posted my comment as a reply to yours, but I should have posted it separately and not as a reply to you. Sorry for that.

Nobody understood destiny till now.... a major question always remains open ... why always ( most of the time ) such accidents happens while onwards or returning from temples... and complete families are vanished in most of the cases.... very tragic. RIP.
