Udupi, Sep 13: Police in Manipal have begun a big crackdown on drug abuse in and around the town. They have booked cases against at least 5 students and a physiotherapy intern from Malaysia. Exact number of students is yet to be known.
The crackdown began on Wednesday, September 13 and will continue, police said.
There were many complaints of students using drugs in town.
