Mangaluru, Sep 4: Lancy Moras, popularly known as ‘LHM’, presented his 11th musical nite at Don Bosco hall here on Sunday, September 3. The nite presented by Moushmi Creations enthralled the music lovers till the end with variety of compositions and two comedy skits.
The musical nite started with Lancy singing a song in memory of his father. It paid tribute to all the fathers on earth who sacrifice a lot for their children and who help mothers in raising them.
Five masters of ceremony Jude Noronha, Roshan Crasta, Preetham Noronha, Floyd D’Mello and Arun Danthy anchored the musical nite one by one which gave different type of experience to audience with variety in voices and presentations.
‘Triplex Events’, an event management company, was launched during the programme. Famous anchors Roshan Crasta, Preetham Noronha and Floyd D’Mello are the partners of this firm which manages events of any kind in and outside Mangaluru.
Parish priest of Bajjodi church Fr Shahbas Crasta, Thomas Moras Niddodi, Sachin Mithun Fernandes, Fr Shahbas Crasta, Eric D’Sa Pangla from Konkan Ghar Riyadh, marketing manager of Daijiworld group Praveen Tauro, Hilda Moras, Leonida Moushmi Moras were present during the brief stage programme.
Fr Shahbas Crasta said, "I am happy to witness two nites of Lancy in the past two years. Lancy has been working in the gulf for many years. Yet he has time for his mother tongue and motherland. In addition to exhibiting his God given talents, he recognizes and promotes the talent in others. That itself is a great talent. I want to see more from Lancy so that singers, musicians and the community benefits in a larger way,”
Lancy Moras honoured the donors and people who helped him to stage the event. He also offered a bouquet to his mother Cecelia Moras who taught him the first words in Konkani and who always supported him.
Lancy Moras, Ivy D Souza, Sangeetha Balachandran, Nihal Tauro, Zeena Pereira, Arun Danthy, Francis Mascarenhas, Clerita Lobo and Joshal D Souza were the singers who sang songs from slow to fast numbers, from solo to duets and from semi-classical to dance numbers.
Manoj Lobo was the music arranger with himself playing bass guitar and Shobha Lobo, Roshan Crasta Bela, and Rodrigues brothers from Bejai on other instruments.
Comedy skits were performed by 'Maskiri Manglur' comprising Joseph Pinto, Wilfy Mascarenhas and Nishma D'Souza.
