Karkala, Aug 29: BJP national organizing secretary, B L Santhsoh, mentioned that India is facing onslaught from China in sectors like economic, cultural, and social sectors. He called upon young people to show determination in facing these challenges affectively by becoming fiercely patriotic.

"China, which shares border with seven Indian states, had recently transgressed Indian border at Doklam," he said, recollecting events which unfolded thereafter. He said that China had created border dispute during the last ten years by sneaking into Indian side. "China has shown the same aggression with other 23 countries located around it as it is an expansionist country," he stated.

He also recollected the fact that China had once become a laughing stock in the world by trying to establish a town in that country by copying Gaya, a holy land associated with Gautama Buddha. "China has always been a country which thrives by creating fake things and copying others. Unfortunately, in pursuance of these policies, it is even ready to severe ancient religion-based relationship it has been sharing since long with India," he said.
He said that India is importing many things from China including toys, insect bats, silk, machinery of daily use, household goods, and even idol of Lord Ganapati which people worship at home. He advised people to realize that mosquito bats used to kill the insects are far more dangerous as compared to mosquitoes themselves.
"Under the leadership of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, a campaign titled 'Rashtreeya Swadeshi-Suraksha' has been set into motion. This campaign aims at boycotting things made in China. Already imports from China have come down by seven percent," he informed.
