Hubballi: High school girl becomes 'victim' of deadly Blue Whale game

Daijiworld Media Network – Hubballi (RJP)

Hubballi, Aug 25: A Kendriya Vidyalaya student injured herself on Thursday, August 24 while playing the deadly infamous ‘Blue Whale’ game. This is probably the first of its kind incident reported from the state.

A Class VI girl told her school friends that she cut her finger while playing the game. Immediately her friends informed the same to the teachers in the school.

One of the teachers said the girl admitted to have been cut her finger while playing the game at her home. The girl informed the teacher that she was playing the game after downloading it on her father’s smartphone.

“We did not want to blow up this issue in front of her. So we only asked her to uninstall the game immediately after returning home,” the teacher said.

A woman teacher meanwhile counseled the girl and convinced her not to play the game again.

“Children play such games due to the irresponsibility of parents. A meeting of parents will be called soon in this regard and directions will be given to take better care of their children,” the school in-charge said.

How sad ,this girl became a victim of this game .I find if Govt, can bann certain videos or games of voilent games or for example for minor games, then this game can be too banned ,atleast for children up to 18years of age.Till then they are as minor concerned and certainly install a blockage chip.why not? This is more than a harmless game.First they must be starting to see out of interest, later already .Parents kindly have awatch on your minor kids before it is too late.specially on certain games. Most probably these bloggers are minting money out of this ,thtas why they let it go.Try to file a case on this side.slowly govt.might wake up-In schools call up a parents day and make themall know about this deadly game .All might be not knowing it.

You can't just download that game from the play store or search on Google and play it. It's very difficult to find that game, the game is mostly found on the dark web which cannot be accessed by a 6th std student. Just imagine if it was so easy to find that game n download it, so many teenagers would have been affected. The reality here is something different. The cops gotta find it.

    No.
The internet simply does not work that way. The Governments cannot just 'take down' contents that it does not like. That is the harsh reality.
(PS - please do not construe my reply as a support to the game in anyway)
