Mangaluru: Congress has nothing to do with denotification case against Yeddy - Ivan D'Souza

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (ANK)

Mangaluru, Aug 20: Chief whip of Legislative Council Ivan D'Souza on Sunday August 20 denied the role of Congress in the denotification case against BJP state president and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa.

Addressing a press meet here Ivan D'Souza said, "Dr Aiyappa has complained to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) about the illegal denotification of land at Shivaram Karanth layout in Bengaluru, in which former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa is the prime accused and Basavaraj is the second accused. BJP has claimed Congress' involvement in the complaint. I strongly deny the allegation. Congress has nothing to do with the complaint.

"Corruption is not new for BJP. Corruption, jail and bail have become a daily routine for BJP leaders. Former chief minister Yeddyurappa himself has 24 cases against his name. It is totally wrong to blame chief minister Siddaramaiah for the denotification case filed against Yeddyurappa," he said.

"Congress has introduced several pro-people programmes and BJP is unable to digest it. Hence BJP leaders are devising strategies to destabilize the Congress, but we will not give in. BJP is protesting in Bengaluru. BJP does not want to protest for the sake of people, it only to protect its leaders," he adde.

Former district Congress president Ibrahim Kodijaal, Bhaskar Rao, Chandrashekar Gatty, Yusuf Khader and others were present.

when Congress folks are raided or any action by police or judicial its full BJP agenda, BJP is misusing the power.... CBI playing as per Central tune... etc etc... now when Yeddy is given a legal pinch, we all should believe Ivan telling that Congress has nothing to do with this .... are you sure. One of this should be true. Either both the cases , departments are working on their own, with out any party's agenda. Or If BJP is troubling congress using the departments ( as congress blame ) , then it's evident here also that Congress is troubling BJP leaders using their own departments... Kya bolthe ho janaab.

If there was a case to be made out against Mr Yeddy why was it not made out all these years why is it made now . This goes to show that this case is motivated. They could have very well complained to the Lokayukta . They are complaining to ACB which is directly reporting to the CM. This is a clear case of political vendetta and not what Mr Ivan D'Souza says.

From far even the solid rock castles look like floating on air. Wait, let the elections near.
It is BJP who is going to form a government in Karnataka.
I hate Siddaramayya for his anti-Hindu policy, though I am not religiously fanatic.

You mean Siddu being a staunch, upright and righteous Hindu will formulate and implement anti Hindu policies for himself and his colleagues in the cabinet and state?????. If it's BJP's version of Hindu then it's not Hindu religion its BJP's Hindu Politics. Nothing to do with Hindu religion and Hindus.
