Mumbai, Aug 16: President of National Billava Maha Mandala (R), Jaya C Suvarna, who noted that Kavya Poojary was a sports person who had excelled at the national level, felt that it is but natural for the people to suspect foul play in her death which happened under mysterious circumstances. He said that he firmly backs an impartial, fair probe that leads to proper justice in the case.

Suvarna was addressing a press conference held at Billavara Bhavana at Santacruz here on Monday August 14. "Mohan Alva is a person who has been spearheading an educational institution of national repute. It is improper to disturb peace in the society as a whole and the community in particular by making use of this incident. I request everyone to conserve peace and make room for a fair and impartial probe into Kavya's death. We are writing to the central and state governments demanding detailed probe in the case. Only after the outcome of the probe is revealed, we will pool opinions of various organizations representing out community and take further steps as found necessary," he explained.

Jaya Suvarna said that he could not take a considered stand in the matter as he was down with health problems, although he was aware about this case earlier. "However, vice president of National Billava Maha Mandala (R) and executive member of Billawar Association Mumbai, Dr Rajashekhar R Kotian, had led a delegation to the residence of Kavya, held discussions with her parents, and shared their grief. I will also be visiting Kavya's residence soon and hold discussions with Mohan Alva. There are no two opinions about the fact that guilty should be punished. Our action plan will be directed to achieve this result," he stated.

Only a good criminal Lawyer can bring justice to the family.
This type of approach will not bring justice to Kavya's death.
Hire a best criminal lawyer in the country and sue the institute for Rs 5 crore damage for causing death of a National level budding sports star who would have become an International star.
There are lots of lies in statement given by the Institute.
Institute is trying to hide the facts with money/power/ popularity/politicians support/ public celebrities support.
Where is Janardhan Poojary hiding ? Can he not go and meet the family at least once.

Proper investigation must be carried out as clouds of doubts hangs heavily on the management of Alva's. Compounding this whole episode was BJP's dhurbuddhi in calling press conference and declaring Alva's as innocent..........as if my party (BJP) leaders knew what had happened???

Lets be not so foolish to believe and get hoodwinked on someone is so and so.......that he cannot commit the crime, these days money and power and that too absolute power corrupts.

dont spare anyone who has committed this heinous crime
I know truth will surface someday........but we must hasten to find out the Truth.

Equitable probe into Kavya's death is a must. When Mr. Mohan Alva has clearly said he is ready for all kind of investigation and the investigations are on, but why the many groups are holding protest against Alva's before the instigation result is out? Due to these protest the peace in the society is been disturbed and these associations do not have proper evidence against Alva. Without proper evidences the protest are happening which has to be stopped.
