Puttur: Youth arrested for harassing girls at mother's PG hostel

Puttur, Aug 8: Police here on Monday, August 7 arrested a young man for harassing girls at a paying guest (PG) hostel.

Naman Nayak (26) from Narimogaru is the person arrested. The hostel where he harassed the girls belongs to his mother.

Naman’s mother runs the PG hostel for girl students at Nellikatte here. Naman visited the hostel at night and harassed the girls who are minors. Puttur town police arrested Naman after they received complaint from girls.

Naman was produced in Mangaluru court and he has been sent to judicial custody.

Inspector Mahesh Prasad, sub-inspector and other police personnel arrested Naman. Police have registered a case under Pocso act against him.

Naman was also involved in case of assaulting a police on duty.

    This statement evidences something "Naman was also involved in case of assaulting a police on duty."... Now police will take nice lesson to this gentleman.... and they should... next time he will feel complete different when he looks at hostel or girls...

    I feel really sorry for his mother who runs a PG hostel for her livelihood and this 'bori basava' destroyed his mother's livelihood as well. He is a burden to the earth.

    Otherwise these people readily get one way ticket to send alleged criminals to Pakistan. Now no one is ready to sponsor a ticket it seems.

    Jokes (sarcastic) apart, it's a shame to our conscience if we support/ attack a alleged criminals based on their religion. A Criminal is a menace to the complete society.
