Bengaluru: Last cabinet expansion before Assembly polls expected within a fortnight

Daijiworld Media Network-Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Aug 6: As per highly placed sources, the last cabinet expansion of the present state government is expected to take place by the end of next week.

The expansion, which was postponed several times for various reasons, will have to take place soon as Assembly election is not far off, believe top brass leadership in the party. They feel that postponing the same, citing reasons, is not a healthy development.

Shadakshari from Tipatur and MLC H M Revanna are in the forefront to become ministers. Sources say their induction is almost certain. One among the two, P M Narendra Swamy and R B Thimmapur will also become minister. But last minute surprises are common in politics. Some say only senior leaders will be made ministers this time.

Though chief minister Siddaramaiah wants to make someone from Dalit community as home minister, he has not decided whom to accommodate. There are many candidates in the Dalit community aspiring for the post. Previous home minister Dr G Parameshwar was also a Dalit.

Dakshina Kannada in-charge minister Ramanatha Rai who was almost ‘declared’ as home minister in the media some days back, is completely out from the race due to various reasons, it is gathered.

Mandya region and persons from Lingayat and Dalit communities, will get representations this time, sources informed.

    Dear CM Siddu,

Sorry sir, you and your Govt won't come to power after 2018 assembly polls, you have learnt nothing, if you had any moral and face value, you would have asked Mr. DK Shiva Kumar to resign, he has done enough damage to Congress. We don't wan t to see corrupt BSY as next CM,

So please get your act together and do some real meaningful things to help struggling farmers & the voters who trusted you. Than wasting your time in Kannada flag, separate Lingayata religion etc.

Go hard, if not go Home.

Please Observe. Only handful of Politicians (both from UPA and NDA) are speaking-out against the current corruption and corrupt ministers. Reason is simple. If they open their mouth, a lot of skeleton will fallout from their own cupboard.
They are all one , when their self interest is hit. Party, Religion do not matter ! Forget about ideology. Wo Tho Baad me Ghaya.

Recently in Mangalore MLC Ivan lashes out BJP and said in press conference that the BJP was interfering and objecting in Congress' internal matters to appoint Rai as home minister.

Do Rai get Home minister ??? or CM has to get BJP high command permission ???

    @ Rajesh, Mangalore
You are reading only Karnataka news... just read national news papers (which are not victims of FEKUgiri), then you can find status of BJP ruled states like UP, Rajasthan, MP, Haryana, Gujarat etc...

I will challenge you... Karnataka is 100 times better in development and crime rates are lesser than above mentioned states.
