Bengaluru, Aug 4: It is gathered that Karnataka chief minister (CM), Siddaramaiah, is eager to hit back at the BJP to avenge the raid on minister, Shivakumar. As per information, he is seriously contemplating use of these institutions to take on BJP leaders like Yeddyurappa, R Ashoka, C T Ravi, Shobha Karandlaje, and Katta Subrahmanya Naidu.
The state government, it is said, has decided to make use of all chances to browbeat BJP, which has hit the party and government here hard. Therefore, the state is mulling chances of using legally available opportunities to teach BJP a lesson. Already a process to infuse life into some old cases standing against these leaders are on, it is said.
Congress high command is solidly backing Shivakumar, as it feels that Narendra Modi and Amit Shah planned the said raid against the minister as he played major role in averting BJP's efforts to woo Congress MLAs. The state government also wants to win appreciation of the national leadership of the party by taking action against BJP leaders.
In a surprise development, in the meanwhile, mother of Shivakumar, speaking to a private news channel, surprised people by launching verbal tirade against Siddaramaiah. "Siddaramaiah utilized the services of my children, D K Shivakumar and D K Suresh, at his will. But when Income tax raid happened he did not do anything. I am confident that my children will come out unscathed," she stated.
Adding further, she questioned the claim of Siddaramaiah about helping people with 'Anna Bhagya' scheme. "Siddarmaiaah keeps claiming that he has gifted various Bhagyas to people. Did he bring them from his paternal home? He has given out of what we, the farmers, contributed by working hard. Everything will come into the open once election is held. My children nursed the aspirations of getting elected and working for people by becoming ministers, among others. But Siddaramaiah did not come to their rescue at the times of need," she commented.
