Bengaluru, Aug 1: Actor, Dhruv Sharma, who was one of the leading players of Celebrity Cricket League's (CCL) Karnataka Bulldozers team led by actor, Sudeep, passed away on Tuesday August 1.
Dhruv was more popular for his cricketing skills than acting. Even Salman Khan had profusely appreciated his playing skills. His playing ability had enabled Karnataka team to win the championship. He played for all the six seasons of the CCL, and was the vice captain of the Karnataka Bulldozers.
He leaves behind parents, wife and two daughters.
Although it is being said that Sharma chose to kill himself because of upheavals in business dealings, confirmation and further details are awaited.
Dhruv had collapsed in his house on Saturday and was rushed to a hospital immediately.
Early on Tuesday morning, he suffered a cardiac arrest and multiple organ failure. He was declared dead in the early hours of Tuesday. Post mortem is being carried out.
