Mangaluru, Jul 25: A youngster was stabbed to death on Monday, Jul 24 at Vamanjoor near here.

Pawan Raj Shetty (23) Kattipalke is the person deceased.

Pawan Raj Shetty is the son of rowdy sheeter Vamanjoor Rohi who was also murdered in 2009.

It was group clash between around 10 people that led to the stabbing of Pawan, it is gathered. All of them were consuming ganja at an old house at Vamanjoor which was their usual place for ganja consumption.

When there were smoking ganja on Monday night, a fight took place among them and Pawan was stabbed which resulted in his death.

Pawan was a rowdy sheeter involved in several theft cases, attempt to murder case and some other cases. The gang members who were involved in the fight too had many cases against them.

Pawan was recently released from jail on bail. 

A case stands registered at Mangaluru rural police station.
