Bengaluru: Former MLA aged 75 seeks medical reimbursement for '9-year-old son'

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Jul 21: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) was surprised to see a claim from a 75-year-old former MLA who has sought medical reimbursement for his son.

The former MLA claims that his ‘9-year-old son’ is suffering from ill health.

The CID suspects that the bills, produced from different hospitals in support of the claim, are fake. What further puzzles the CID sleuths is the claim that the old man is the father of a nine-year-old son.

With this investigation on hand, CID has many questions to ask with the government. They are - Who are eligible to claim medical reimbursement? Can former MLAs with more than one wife claim medical reimbursement for all their family members?

CID has a case to crack. The name of the former MLA has been withheld.

I have read in news papers that even more than 75 years old man become a father. But what about his wife? Whether wife is alive or this son is second or third wifes son? Whether he produced valid records to claim the medical bills? However this claim should not be considered. His name be disclosed early.

It seems to be very fruitful & gainful, to be a politician/ex-politician, in India. The benefits/privileges go much beyond one's active political life. Having 'children', even at an advanced age, is quite common, in India.

He/She needn't have to worry about inflation, future financial misfortunes, etc. Future is absolutely safe and well provided for by the government (i.e., by the taxpayers).
