Moodbidri: CA CPT - Tavishi Dechamma of Alva's tops state, second in country

Moodbidri, Jul 19: Tavishi Dechamma, a of Alva's PU College here, has topped in the state in CA CPT examination by scoring 191 (95.50 percent) marks out of possible 200. At the national level, she has been placed second behind Meka Naresh Kumar from Indore, who has scored 192 marks.

Chairman of Alva's Education Foundation, Dr M Mohan Alva, gave details about CA CPT result on Tuesday July 18. He said that 105 out of 130 students of his institution who appeared for this test have passed, registering success rate of 80.76 percent. 40 among them have scored over 170, he revealed. Swati Hegde (186 marks), Shrddha M S (185), Bhagyashree S Hegde (184), Sukesh T S (176), Abhay Kant D L (175), Prakhyat Shetty (174), Aditi S Hegde (174) and several others have excelled in the examination, he said.

Among them Swati and Bhagyashree Hegde happen to be twin sisters. Deekshit, who has scored 127 marks, is a physically challenged student who attended the college in wheel chair, Alva pointed out.

Alva's examination coordinator, Prashanth, and public relations officer, Dr Padmanabha Shenoy, were present at the press conference.
