Mangaluru, Jul 18: The much waited Raghu-Shetty directorial 'Arjun Weds Amrutha', produced under the Bedra 9 Creations banner, is all set to release on Friday, July 21.

Director Raghu Shetty revealed the details of premiere of his movie here on Tuesday, July 18.

The film will release in Mangaluru in Jyothi, Cinepolis, Big Cinemas. It will also release at Radhika and Planet in Karkala, Amarashri in Moodabidri, Bharath in Belthangadi, Aruna in Puttur, Santhosh in Sullya, Nataraj in Surathkal, and in Udupi.

"'Arjun Weds Amrutha' is a love story with an infusuion of sentiments and a dash of comedy. Anoop Sagar and Aradhya Shetty play the lead role. The comedy-trio of Coastalwood, Navin D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor and Aravind Bolar, will appear in this movie in unique roles. The story revolves around Padil's character. Umesh Mijar and Sundar Rai will also be seen in prominent roles in the film." Raghu said.

"The movie was planned for release in the month of May, but some other movies were scheduled at the same time. So, we had to postpone the release. We have not made any compromise on the quality and other parts in production. In the initial days, Coastalwood was trolled by Bengaluru-based cinema industries. Now a days Tulu movies are not inspired by other film industries. Arjun weds Amrutha will definitely turn out to be a family entertainer," Raghu said.

"The songs of the film have been composed by Suma L N Shastri, who has come to be known as the first woman music composer of Coastalwood. Rajesh Shetty, Damodar Dhondole and Loku Kudla have written the lyrics. Songs have been rendered by well known singers like Rajesh Krishnan, Hemanth, L N Shastri, Suma L N Shastri and Supriya. The songs of 'Arjun Weds Amrutha' are already a hit," Raghu informed.

Hero of the movie Anoop Sagar, Heroine Aradhya Shetty and Naveen D Padil were present.
